تو در میان جانی
سعدی
Saadi, also known as Sheikh Saadi, was a Persian poet and writer from the medieval period. He is widely recognized as one of the greatest poets in Persian literature and is known for his moral and ethical teachings in his works. Saadi’s most famous works include the Gulistan (Rose Garden) and the Bustan (The Orchard).
The phrase "تو در میان جانی" (to dar mian jaani) is a line from a famous poem by Saadi Shirazi, a renowned Persian poet.
The poem goes as follows:
تو در میان جانی و جان ما در سر تو گر تو جان نداری ما جان دگر کجا داری
This can be translated as:
"You are within my soul, and my soul is within you, If you don't have a soul, where do we have another?"
This verse highlights the deep connection and unity between individuals, suggesting that we are intertwined with each other's existence. It speaks to the idea that our souls are interconnected, and without this connection, we would lack true meaning or essence in life.
